‘India diverting attention from internal failures’

SIALKOT: Federal Minister for Defence and Water and Power Khawaja Asif said the country’s defence is in strong hands and the present government has made it hard to beat.
He said the armed forces of Pakistan were fully capable of defending every inch of their motherland. He alleged that India was supporting terrorism in Pakistan and creating tension on the borders through unprovoked firing along the Working Boundary and Line of Control (LoC).
The minister said this on Sunday while talking to the media here after expressing solidarity with villagers affected by Indian shelling on Kundanpur village in Sucheetgarh sector.
MNA Chaudhry Armughan Subhani, MPAs Chaudhry Muhammad Ikram, Chaudhry Arshad Javaid Warraich were also present on this occasion.
Asif said Indian forces had committed almost 178 ceasefire violation at the LoC and the Working Boundary this year. India was diverting attention from its internal failures by creating tension on the borders. He said killings of innocent people in held Kashmir had exposed the real face of India.
